whenprobertwasking.com take: Fedoruk and Cochrane is a really interesting match up as we have two prime HW’s going at it. Cochrane at his peak was one of the game’s legit bad asses while Fridge was a top-10 style HW in his own right. They come together in the Flyer end in front of netminder, Pete Peeters. Fridge lets loose some wild left hands and Cochrane throws some preliminary rights. After they tussle for a bit, Cochrane begins to unleash a storm of right hands and Fridge comes back with lefts before switching over to rights. Cochrane begins losing his sweater and Fridge struggles to stay anchored. Cochrane fires wildly while Fridge attempts to hold on, eventually falling. Edge Cochrane. Koci was a monster with size strength and reach on his side. Langer was a cool customer even as a rookie and he already developed that trademark hold and counter style he would become famous for. Koci starts by trying to unload on Langer with long range right hands. Langer hangs in, avoiding much of Koci’s assault, while sneaking in the odd counter punch. Eventually Koci wears down and Langdon’s sneaky little counters begin to hit home as he outpoints and keeps Koci tied up the rest of the way. Edge Langdon. Huard and Downey is a real crash and bang affair. They come together and begin to trade right hands immediately. Downey lands a few initially before Huard swamps him with a couple of thunder bolts. Huard then flails wildly and falls with Downey landing on top. Edge Huard.
