1. LESSARD, FRANCIS  (99-00) vs BRASHEAR, DONALD  (98-99) – Brashear

He was able to impose his style on nearly everyone and I see this being the case here against a young gunslinging Francis Lessard. After much prodding by the younger Lessard, Brashear accepts his invitation to dance. They square off briefly before coming to together. Lessard tries to pump a few rapid-fire lefts but Brashear has him wrapped in a bear hug. After a few moments Lessard goes from throwing punches to, fighting to escape Brashear’s python like grip. After Lessard struggles to get free, Brashear begins jolting him up and down, nearly rag dolling him. He then unleashes a barrage of left hands that leave Lessard worked and bleeding. After another similar flurry, the linesmen jump in to end it. Decisive win Brashear.
