1. BIALOWAS, FRANK  (96-97) vs LANGDON, DARREN  (97-98) – Langdon

whenprobertwasking.com take: I might catch some flak for this but Bialowas was tailor made for a prime Langdon. The Animal was a wild fighter who generally fought all out style toe to toe mash ups. Langer was a much more controlled style of fighter who used technique and stamina in his fights. In this one, Bialowas is able to coax Langer into a rare square off in front of the Phantoms bench. Bialowas wades in with right hands and begins to assault Langdon. At first it looks like Langdon is going to get run over completely but he rights the ship and in typical Langdon style, goes for the long haul. Bialowas’ outburst gave him the clear cut edge in the fight but his offense died out and Langdon vice gripped his right arm. Bialowas struggles to get free as Langdon methodically counters and pokes in rights and lefts. Langer keeps on the pressure as Bialowas thrashes violently to get free. The Animal digs deep and attempts to flurry and Langdon actually matches him. Now thoroughly tied up and wearing down, Bialowas begins to wrestle with Langdon eventually tossing him to the ice ending the fight. Edge Langdon.
