whenprobertwasking.com take: Mike Brown and Jeremy Yablonski engage in some verbal sparring during the pre game skate so you knew something would happen if they met up later in the game. We didn’t have to wait long as they were both put out early in the first period to get it out of their system. They square off to the right of Ottawa netminder, Jeff Glass. Once they lock up, they begin firing right hands before Yablonski bores in close and begins switching hands. He catches Brown with a couple of solid shots before countering with some heavy rights of his own. They grapple for a time as they maneuver all the way to the Syracuse bench. Here Yablonski begins to tear away savagely at Brown who is game but struggles with his back up against the boards. Once there’s a pause in the fireworks, the linesmen see their chance an end it. Clear win Yablonski.
