1. PROBERT, BOB  (01-02) vs FREADRICH, KYLE  (99-00) – Freadrich

Probert was the “king”, but such honorifics were a salute to his great career and for times gone by when he was the league’s undisputed champ. However, in 01-02, Probert was no longer the same fighter. Still capable, he was breaking down after a lengthy career engaging in some of the game’s greatest fights. In this battle, Freadrich immediately starts talking to Probert at the faceoff. When the puck is dropped Freadrich fires the gloves off and squares off. Probert is more deliberate, shaking his gloves off one at a time and offering an awkward square off. When they come to grips, Freadrich lands a good right just as they grab on. He starts pumping right hands as Probert tries to stand back and avoid the incoming missiles. Probert swings wildly with a right and tries to hold on as Freadrich is all over him with right hand flurries. Probert is overwhelmed and after some serious struggling is able to latch on and tie up Freadrich who is still raring to go. Probert just holds on as Freddy lands some rabbit punches. The linesmen see their chance and end it. Clear win Freadrich.
